Matinees that Matter - Join us February 23

The next matinee is titled Wounded PlacesConfronting Childhood PTSD in American’s Shell-Shocked Cities with facilitators Wanda Dillard, Director of Community Development for Wexner Medical Center and Pam Hayes, STEM Bodies and Digital Coordinator for Metro Early College High School. The event is at the PAST Innovation Lab from 11am-12:30pm. You must pre-register to attend.

PAST Design Challenges

Design Challenges are intended to grab both student and teacher interests and passions. They are designed to model how rigorous content can be blended with student engagement, challenging the view that learning can’t or shouldn’t be fun! Examples of these challenges are featured below.

CORI FRC Scrimmage

The Center of Robotics Innovation (CORI) will host the CORI FRC Scrimmage at PAST Innovation Lab. Robotics teams from 19 Central Ohio schools will test their robots designed for the FIRST Robotics STEAMWORKS challenge in PAST Innovation Lab’s robotics arena.

2017 MATE Buckeye Regional Competition

The MATE Buckeye Regional ROV Competition will be hosted at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion at The Ohio State University on Saturday - May 6, 2017. This underwater robot competition is part of the 16th Annual MATE International ROV Competition. Whether you’re competing in the Scout, Navigator, Explorer, or Ranger Mission, there is a place for all teams.

Visit PAST & CORI at #OETC17 – February 14-16, 2017 

Join PAST Foundation and The Center of Robotics Innovation (CORI) next week at the OETC Conference in the Columbus Convention Center. The Ohio Education Technology Conference is the premier P-20 state educational technology conference. There are hundreds of booths full of educational technology for you to experience learning and education in Ohio!
