PAST & Columbus State Awarded NSF Grant
The PAST Foundation and Columbus State Community College were recently awarded a prestigious National Science Foundation (NSF) grant titled Design Thinking - Additive Manufacturing Summer Institute. This three-year program will introduce high school students to careers in Additive Manufacturing.
Partners in Additive Manufacturing EWI & PAST
Starting down the path of additive manufacturing careers take the right mix of partners. In addition to CSCC and PAST, EWI brings its unmatched, diverse, and solution-focused team of 3D printing experts to this program giving students the ability to garner real world, hands-on experience.
Design Lab Students Participate in Smart City Accelerator
For several weeks now, each Tuesday and Thursday, Design Lab students have been getting a dose of real-world experience. Singularity University located in Silicon Valley launched the Smart City Accelerator here in Columbus and our students are teaching start-ups a thing or two. Follow us on social media.

#BigGive has Record-breaking Success!
Many thanks to those of you who made donations to PAST during The Big Give. We are anxious to get our individual results, but we can report that $18,002,517 was raised (including a bonus pool of $1,421,240), 906 non-profits participated, 30,306 donations were received, and $20,000 in prizes will be awarded. Obviously, many folks were KIND in a BIG way!
Matinees That Matter - Unsung Heroes: The Story of America's Female Patriots
Join us at PAST Innovation Lab on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 11am-12:30pmfor “Unsung Heroes.” From the Revolutionary War until today, women have shed their blood in defense of America. Their sacrifices are profound and their noble accomplishments largely, ignored. This inspiring story of perseverance and triumph, dramatically and for all time, sets the record straight on their unrecognized courage and sacrifices. At the heart of Unsung Heroes are the powerful, first-hand accounts of women who have answered the call and stand proud in their commitment to the patriotic ideals of the United States.
Innovators Club After School STEM
We still have a few spaces left. Register your 5th -8th grader today. As a club member, your students will learn how to problem-solve, collaborate, critically think – all using the design cycle. Who knows, during the process, your student may just uncover his/her underlying passion.
Parking With a Purpose
Did you know that @theohiostateuniversity announced that there will be 2,100 fewer parking spaces on campus on game day? Why not park with a purpose at PAST! Spots are still available at $10 per game but we recommend reserving your spot soon. All proceeds go to support the @metrobots3324 @MetroHS Robotics team.
