Outstanding Technology Team
PAST & JadeTrack are honored to receive a BizTech Outstanding Technology Team award for their Energy4Learning program. Team members will receive the award on Tuesday, December 4th at a sold-out reception at Vue Columbus.
Partnering together, PAST & JadeTrack with the help of other partners such as IGS Energy, New Albany Plain Local Schools, Air Force One and DENT Instruments, we have created a program that offers students an opportunity for real world experiences that helps them hone in on their problem solving skills allowing them to practice collaboration, design thinking, creativity, and experimentation while addressing the task of providing clean and sustainable energy for the future.
Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corporation Provides Sponsorship for Students
PAST recently received a sponsorship from Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corporation and Computer Aided Technology that includes software, curriculum and certifications that will greatly benefit students interested in pursuing careers as future technology leaders.
“We are thrilled to join forces with Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corporation to provide students with current technology tied to real world experiences that helps prepare them for their futures. Plans are underway to utilize these tools in other PAST created student programs as well,” said Andy Bruening, Director of Bridge Programs at PAST.
Join Us for Our CORI FLL Event Tomorrow!
The PAST Innovation Lab will launch INTO ORBIT as we host the Metro/CORI FIRST® LEGO® League Regional Tournament on Saturday, December 1st. As FIRST® launches into its 30th season teams have prepared to blast off and break out of their earthly constraints and travel into space! 20 teams will be all systems go as their hard work of developing, designing, building and coding LEGO MINDSTORMS® robots comes to life as they perform space themed tasks on the playing field. This is not just about the robots though, teams have been challenged to identify a physical or social problem faced by humans during long duration space explorations and solve that problem!
